The Internet is a top priority for UMH. The group is now #1 in Ukraine with more than 45% of the audience and 29% of the advertising market. By audience reach, UMH is among the top-5 operating in Ukraine, including international corporations such as Google, Mail.ru and Yandex.
Despite the comparatively small share of Internet in the Ukrainian advertising market, it is the most promising segment for growth, with expected average annual growth in advertising budgets of over 40%. UMH plans to actively develop its Internet business in Russia and other CIS countries.
UMH controls over 15 popular Internet projects including korrespondent.net, bigmir.net, i.ua and football.ua. UMH is the leader in the portals, sports, news and lifestyle segments.
UMH group together with Digital Ventures has created the company Digi Media, the largest sales house in the Ukrainian Internet, combining sales of leading Internet sites of the country. By the principle of "single window" Digi Media has exclusive rights to sell advertising on the sites that generate in total more than 400 million page views per month.
